Ben graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Science prior to completing a Master of Chiropractic in 2004. He practiced on the Gold Coast, in Brisbane, and then in London UK, before returning to Sydney. Ben has operated Cronin Chiropractic in Gerringong since 2013, beginning as a one day per month clinic, and it has now become 2 days per week.
Ben is also currently studying towards a Doctor of Physiotherapy Degree, and when finished this will allow him to be dual qualified as a physiotherapist and chiropractor.
One of Ben's major interests in practice is complex ongoing back and neck pain. He aims to assess each patient thoroughly, and develop a plan to help you return to activities you would like to but have been unable to do.
Ben has spent many hours in professional development in his time in practice, and constantly strives to advance his knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and sports performance. He has previously taught advanced patient management to final year students at Macquarie University. Ben has undergone training to further his understanding of golf performance through the Titleist Performance Institute. He performs screening to assess your physical capabilities, and can perform treatment, prescribe exercises and provide information to your golf professional about your body to prevent injury and help to you achieve your golfing potential. Ben is also skilled in performing running analysis to improve your efficiency and performance, and prevent injury.
Ben keeps himself active, running regularly, playing golf, and training at the gym. He enjoys hiking when he gets the chance, and in the past has played multiple sports such as rugby league, touch and tennis.
